Yuvraja C. Singh is Co-Founder of the DMI Group, where he is jointly responsible for all aspects of the firm’s activities.

Yuvraja C. Singh brings over three decades of experience in finance to his role, with an expertise in fixed income structuring, trading, and risk management. He began his career in the risk management department at Commodities Corporation, a leading commodity and futures trading firm, now a part of Goldman Sachs. In 1995, Yuvraja Singh moved to Wall Street, trading mortgage-backed securities at Lehman Brothers and eventually running the firm’s mortgage derivatives desk. In 2000, he took on a new challenge and followed his entrepreneurial passion, becoming partner at Compro Technologies, a small software development firm in India. In 2003, Yuvraja C. Singh returned to Wall Street and joined the Fixed Income Department at Citigroup, where as a Managing Director he oversaw the agency CMO fixed rate and IO/PO trading desks.

Yuvraja C. Singh is a graduate from Princeton University’s class of 1994, with a B.A. in Economics. He currently serves on the Advisory Council of the MS Chadha Center for Global India and the President’s Roundtable at Princeton University and has previously served on the Board of Governors of The British School in New Delhi. He lives in New Delhi with his family.

Shivashish Chatterjee is a Co-Founder of the DMI Group where he is a driving force behind the Group’s vision and strategy.
A 25-year veteran of international financial markets, Shiv brings a wealth of experience in Global Fixed-Income trading and analytics that complements and informs DMI’s activities. Shiv spent the vast majority of his Wall Street days at Salomon Brothers, a storied fixed-income powerhouse that was eventually acquired by Citigroup Inc. One of the youngest-ever Managing Directors at Salomon Brothers and Citigroup Inc., Shiv held a wide variety of positions spanning core research in interest rate and prepayment modelling to trading a range of interest rate derivatives and mortgage-backed securities. He became Co-Head of all securitised products trading in North America in 2004 before leaving in 2008 to start DMI.
He graduated from Harvard University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude in Applied Mathematics. He is very active in Harvard alumni activities in NY City including serving on the Schools Committee for the Greater NYC area. Shiv is very passionate about technology and is an active angel investor in technology startups.

Rajul Bhargava: Accomplished finance professional, National Merit Scholar, and advocate for affordable housing and the environment.

Possessing a three-decade tenure in the finance and housing industries, Rajul Bhargava holds the position of Executive Director and CEO at DMI Housing Finance. With his deeply entrenched expertise in P&L management, business development, and credit lifecycle, he specializes in building high-yield portfolios with lower credit costs, particularly in Home Loans and Loan against Property.

He has held prominent positions at HDFC Ltd, ICICI Bank, and Fullerton, and played a crucial role as a founding member at India Shelter Housing Finance. Notably, he established the micro-housing credit vertical at DCB Bank, facilitating affordable homeownership for low-income individuals.

Driven by a passion for the environment, Rajul is also the founder of RB Plantation, an organization dedicated to enhancing the environment through plantation initiatives.

Sameer Mahajan is the Chief Business Officer for DMI Housing Finance.

He has over 19 years of experience in the finance industry with expertise across functions of sales, credit, and operations. Prior to joining DMI, he worked with Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd as a Zonal Business Manager. He helped in setting up the organization in its initial years and had a major contribution to opening offices in new locations, building up brand recall, and scaling up business numbers. He also worked with ICICI Bank Ltd.He has done his MBA in Marketing & Finance from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjab.

Yatharth is the Chief Risk and Strategy Officer at DMI Housing Finance. In his role, he oversees various important functions such as Risk, Credit, Operations, Legal, and Fraud Control.

He is focused on leading the company’s efforts in digitization and automation. With a strong background in finance spanning more than a decade and a half, he has worked in diverse roles in credit analysis, investment banking, business strategy, and structured finance. Prior to joining DMI, Yatharth held positions at Care Ratings and Polestar. He holds the titles of Ranker CA and CFA Charter Holder.

Poonam Chauhan is a seasoned professional with expertise in all elements of financial closing, auditing, and reporting to ensure seamlessness, excellence, and enhanced efficiency in financial management. She is a chartered accountant with 14 years of post-qualification experience.

She has been a part of the DMI Group since 2014. As part of the Senior Management team in DMI Housing Finance, Poonam helps shape the organisation’s strategic vision and provides financial insights to the Board of Directors. She ensures robust financial processes and controls, including management reporting, financial analysis, and tax compliance, while maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies and financial analysts.

Prior to DMI Group, Poonam was a Senior Associate at DHC Consultants (Haribhakti & Co.), a leading consulting firm. There, she worked in the Audit and Assurance Division. Her major assignments were with PSUs, Listed Companies, and Banks. She graduated from Janki Devi Memorial College, Delhi University, and completed a certificate course on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Devendra Sharma leads the technology strategy for DMI Housing Finance as the Chief Technology Officer.

At DMI, Devendra’s vision is to build future-ready, robust technology platforms that empower the organization to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape. With over 25 years of global experience, Devendra’s expertise spans critical domains such as Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Health Insurance, and Enterprise Product Development.

Devendra’s career is marked by a track record of driving technological innovation and delivering scalable solutions that transform business processes. Before joining DMI, he spent more than 11 years at HCL Technologies and 9 years in Tata Consultancy Services, where he leveraged cutting-edge technologies to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences. He holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
